| PRN employees must meet our strict standards before they can meet yours. Thats why PRN thoroughly screens prospective employees and continuously monitors employees according to the following standards.
Identity Verification
PRN requires every employee to provide a social security number, I-9 form and a current picture I.D, such as a drivers license, and keeps a copy on file for identity verification. To support your security efforts, every PRN employee wears a picture I.D. badge while on duty at your facility.
License Verification
PRN verifies that every employees nursing license is current and keeps a copy on file. In addition, PRN requires current CPR documentation and keeps a copy on file.
Personal Interviews
PRN conducts personal interviews with every prospective employee, thoroughly investigating work history, skills inventory and clinical expertise, and clearly communicating PRNs strict performance standards, policies and procedures.
Professional References
PRN requires every prospective employee to provide at least two professional references verifying clinical work experience. Written references and documentation of telephone references are kept on file.
Performance Evaluations
PRN requires every prospective employee to provide a current clinical evaluation. In addition, PRN continuously monitors the professional performance of its employees and the satisfaction of its clients by completing written evaluations in consultation with client/employer.
Health Testing
PRN requires every employee to provide a physicians statement verifying a satisfactory medical examination, which included a PPD/ TB skin test within the past year. Every PRN employee must have had a Hepatitus B titer or vaccine or have signed a written declination. And every PRN employee must have had MMR and chicken pox titers.
Drug Testing
PRN requires every employee to provide proof of drug testing conducted within the past year. If necessary, PRN refers the employee to an accredited drug testing lab. In addition, PRN employees must comply with the drug testing policies of the facility in which they serve, including random testing as deemed necessary.
Background Investigation
PRN requires every employee to provide results of a background investigation conducted within the past year. If necessary, PRN refers the employee to an accredited background investigation firm.
Mandatory In-services
PRN checks every employee for a working knowledge of current JCAHO and OSHA standards and provides accredited third-party training if necessary.
